I was simply writing about my dogs, who happened to inspire different types of characters. But as the series developed, I realized diversity and cooperation among the animals was an important theme that I wanted to continue exploring. It reflects real life, and I want my stories to celebrate that.

In Bunny and Fawn: The Midnight Creature Mystery, readers follow a cast of colorful and diverse furry friends as they investigate a mysterious creature making noises in the night. Through warm, inviting illustrations and playful dialogue, the story emphasizes the importance of patience, keeping an open mind, and giving second chances.

As both a highly sensitive parent and the mother of a highly sensitive child, I wanted families to know this trait (often misunderstood), is truly a strength and a beautiful gift. My book was created with the intention of helping families understand and celebrate this trait, offering insight into how sensitive children can thrive when given a safe and supportive space.
